As an evangelist for the Churches of God General Conference, I was asked to assist the Churches of God church in Clare with connecting with the community.
Between January of 2023 and January of 2025, I made multiple trips to meet with the church leadership team, evaluate existing ministries, and determine opportunities for outreach. Once viable opportunities were identified, I submitted the recommendations to the leadership team as well as the conference leadership.
During one of my trips, a drunk driver took out a power pole in downtown Clare, knocking out the power to most of the businesses and residents within a two block radius of downtown. While the power was out, I had the opportunity to pray for people and share Jesus with people.
